Time is a valuable thing. B2B marketers often don’t notice it go by as the pendulum swings.

As B2B marketers, we've got a lot on our plates, so anything that saves us even a few seconds of time is invaluable.

So we've put together a list of 10 tools that will give you some of your precious time back.

Evernote

Evernote is like a digital version of a notebook. Instead of scribbling something down on a piece of paper, you can type it into Evernote, which will automatically sync your data. This means you can access your notes from anywhere and from any advice. Cool huh!

Google Reader

Google Reader enables you to subscribe to your favourite blogs and news sites via RSS without clogging up your email inbox. You can access all the feeds from one location without having to visit external sites to consume the content. The tagging feature makes it easy to categorise your feeds into separate folders.

Buffer

Buffer is the lazy man’s version of social media scheduling. The Buffer application allows you to predetermine a list of daily publishing times (known as your buffer). When you are browsing the web and come across something you’d like to share, you simply click on the buffer browser extension or bookmarklet and then click “add to buffer”. The update will then be posted at the next available time slot in your buffer.

Mozbar

The Mozbar browser extension from SEOmoz takes some of the time out of SEO. The toolbar enables you to quickly look up important link data of a site/page to get an idea of its relative importance from a link popularity perspective. It also enables you to easily analyse meta data, on-page content, and SEO-specific tags.

Google Adwords Keyword Tool

There are a multitude of free and paid keyword research tools available. We find it hard to go past the free Google Adwords Keyword Tool. The tool provides a variety of keyword information including estimated traffic, competitiveness and suggested keywords.

Ontolo Phrase Occurrence Tool

The Ontolo Phrase Occurrence Tool saves time when it comes to content optimisation. The tool analyses content and measures how many times various phrases are repeated. This knowledge will help to ensure you have the right keyword frequency for SEO purposes.

SERP Snippet Optimization Tool

The SERP Snippet Optimization Tool from SEOmofo is a handy little tool makes it easier to craft page titles and meta descriptions. It informs you when you have exceeded search engine character limits and also provides a visual demonstration of what the search engine listing for that page would look like.

TitleCase

Grammar and formatting is a crucial and often time-consuming part of content marketing. One particular issue that seems to trouble many writers is title capitalisation. It can be confusing trying to figure out which letters should be uppercase and which should be lowercase in article titles. Not with TitleCase. Simply type or copy a phrase into TitleCase and it will automatically convert it into the required capitalisation format.
